Thomas Holmes, R. Psych
Thomas is a Registered Psychologist in Alberta and a member of the Psychological Association of Alberta.
He has experience working with all ages of clients.
Thomas uses a Solution-Focused approach with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in counselling. In assessment, he uses a comprehensive approach that includes tiered recommendations for schools and families.
He started his career supporting adults with developmental disabilities through Lo-Se-Ca Foundation as a Community Support Worker and Team Leader. Working in a variety of different settings, Thomas has worked as a teacher, school counsellor, inclusive education coordinator, school administrator, behaviour consultant, university sessional instructor and school system psychologist. Thomas has also worked as a senior administrator in a school division and most recently as the CEO of a group care treatment program. Thomas also spends time providing crisis counselling support and supervision to other therapists working in First Nations communities.
